Glen Aubrey Trailer Fire

Glen Aubrey Trailer Fire Sunday, January 28, In the early hours of sunday morning, Maine Fire responded with Pumper Tanker 33-1 with a full crew as mutual aid to Glen Aubrey for a reported structure fire.

Glen Aubrey Trailer Fire While enroute to the call, Glen Aubrey Chief 47 arrived on the scene and reported heavy smoke coming from the structure. Once the tanker arrived on scene, Maine crews went to work inside the smoke filled structure. While inside, exterior crews found the base of the fire to be under the structure and attempted to extinguish the fire. During the attempts that were being made outside the structure, the fire broke through the floor and began to ignite the contents of the room on fire right in front of the interior crews.

Glen Aubrey Trailer Fire A quick knock of all visible fire was made and Maine crews went to work opening up the floor to get to the main body of fire, which was in the heating ducts and floor joists. Glen Aubrey Trailer Fire Fire was called under control shorty after and Rescue 33-6 was called into the scene for cascade and lighting. Maine Fire remained on scene to assist in overhaul and to standby for fire investigators to determine the cause of fire. Maine Fire was complete and returning at 4:45am.
