| Fast Team Training With S.F.D |
Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21, The Northern Broome Fast Team, who consists of personnel from
Maine Fire, Whitney Point Fire, and Choconut Center Fire, trained over the past weekend under the direction
of the Battalion Chief from the Syracuse fire Department. The training took place in an aquired structure
located in Conklin. All of the training evolutions were performed under simulated fire conditions which
included heavy smoke and zero visibility. This was an intense weekend of training that consisted of rescueing
victims out of collapsed debris, holes in the subfloor, basements, off of steeply pitched roofs, and
through walls. A thanks to all who participated.
