| Binghamton St. Patricks Day Parade |
Saturday, March 3, As we usually do, the Maine Fire Company Honor Guard participated in the annual ST. Patricks
Day Parade in downtown Binghamton. This year, we divided our group into 2, placing half of them leading the Broome
County Celtic Band as their honor guard and the other half several groups back leading the Maine Fire Department,
with the help of our brothers from the Mexico Fire Department. An annual tradition now, we join Mexico for their
annual field days in Mexico up north during the summer and they attend the St. Patricks Day Parade down here with us.
Immediately following the parade, we led the Broome County Celtic Band into Setan Catholic Highschool, where the
were greeted by hundreds as they played their pipes and drums. There, we met up with some of our closest brothers
from Whitney Point and Chocomut Center. It made for an adventful and unforgettable afternoon. During the course of
the day, we were fortunate to get a few photos with some of the local celebrities, BALLWINKLE & BUZZ THE BEE.
